1. Who we are

Fish or Pass is operated by Set Sale Marine LLC (“we”, “us”) from Newport Beach, California. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: hello@fishorpass.com.

2. What we collect

Account information you give us (name, email, password). Usage data (pages viewed, features used, device and log data) to run and improve the service. Communications you send us. We do not collect or store raw payment-card numbers — see Payments.

3. Payments

Billing is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered into and stored by Stripe, not by us; we receive only limited information (card brand, last four, subscription status) needed to manage your account. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they process payment data.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser; some features may not work without the essential ones.

5. How we use your information

To provide and secure the service, process your subscription, respond to you, send service and account messages, and improve Fish or Pass. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate (hosting, email delivery, Stripe for payments, analytics), under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. That’s it.

7. Your choices & rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information, and opt out of non-essential email. Depending on where you live (for example California/CCPA, or the EU/GDPR), you may have additional rights — contact us to exercise them.

8. Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method is perfectly secure.

9. Children

Fish or Pass is for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new date here and, for material changes, notify you.
